マレーシア出身のジャズシンガーニサ。彼女は2008年から北海道の室蘭工業大学に進学した。在学中の2011年にジャズ研究会に入部し、ジャズの世界に挑戦し始めた。その時から、彼女は全国のイベントやジャズフェスティバルで歌声を披露した。彼女は日本での有名なジャズボーカリスト天野昇子と国貞雅子にジャズボーカリストについて様々な指導を受けている。 また札幌で2013年と2014年にバークリー音楽大学とサッポロ・シティ・ジャズが連携して開催したSapporo Groove Campに参加した。そこで2013年にダニエラシャクター助教、2014年にガブリエル·グッドマン教授などからジャズについて指導を受けた。この教授たちはどちらもボストンのバークリー音楽学校で最高のボーカルインストラクターである。 2014年4月に、彼女は代々木ナル、東京で開催されたオーディションで最高の新人ジャズ·ヴォーカリスト（MISAKO Pick Up）の一人に選ばれていた。 そして2014年6月にはASEAN Festival 2014にマレーシアを代表する歌手として出演した。現在、彼女は東京を中心に日本全国で様々なジャズ·ミュージシャンと共演している。 彼女は、日本で初めてのマレーシア出身のジャズボーカリストである。 彼女は間違いなくマレーシアと日本のジャズ界で新星の一人。

NISA was born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia in January 27^th. She went to Sabah Science Secondary School for 5years and with her SPM results she managed to pursue her study in Chemical Engineering under Malaysia Public Service Department (JPA) Scholarship. She had studied Japanese Language for two years at Ambang Asuhan Jepun in Malaya University for two years. She also managed to pass the highest level for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N1) in 2011 and became the first Malaysian passed the examination in Hokkaido, Japan. Now, she can speak as fluent as Japanese people.

While attending Muroran Institute of Technology in Hokkaido, Japan from 2008 and she joined Jazz Club in 2011. From this time, she worked for various kinds of events and Jazz Festival around Japan such as Sapporo City Jazz Festival and etc. She started to study more about Jazz Vocalist with Japanese jazz vocalist icon, Amano Shoko. She also studied about Jazz from Berklee College of Music’s professor such as Queen of R&B, Professor Gabrielle Goodman in 2014 and Assistant Professor Daniela Schachter in 2013 in Sapporo. Both of them are the best vocalist’s instructor in Berklee School of Music in Boston. Miss Nisa also got the certification of appreciation as a performer in the Malaysia Night 2013 that signed by H.E. Datuk Shaharudin Md. Som (Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan) and Counselor for Public Service Department in Embassy of Malaysia, Tokyo.

In April 2014, she had been selected as one of best newcomer jazz vocalist by the audition (MISAKO PickUp) that held in Yoyogi NARU, Tokyo. From that, she is now singing and working with some finest jazz musicians around Japan.

She is first Malaysian in Japan that sings in Jazz Festivals and Jazz Concerts around Japan. She is definitely one of rising star in Malaysia and Japan’s jazz world.
